New Scars Promotion

The date is now set, so it's time to initiate the promotions and contests promoting Scars on Broadway's self-titled debut and its July 29th release date. During the weeks leading up, we will be launching a series of promotions, each having a specific prize to win. But, to add a special twist, there will be a grand prize that not only the winner of the individual promotion will be entered into, but the top 4 participants will be entered as well. This means, the top 5 performers that deliver the most comprehensive and effective feedback and delivery in each of the promotions will be entered to win the grand prize. The grand prize will be unveiled shortly, but in the meantime let's get started.




As mentioned above, the Scars record is coming out on July 29th, and "They Say" is now available at iTunes. We of course now want you to spread the word.

The prizes...

1. The poster from Scars recent show with Metallica at The Wiltern in Los Angeles signed by Daron and John.

2. A spot in Scars top friends for two weeks.

Here's how to win...

Post this banner and widget combo EVERYWHERE you can online: Myspace, Last.fm, Facebook, iLike, your message board signature, and wherever else you can achieve maximum penetration and awareness on the web.

When you're done, email screenshots of all your posts to scarsonbroadway@velvethammer.net with "iTunes/Release Banner Promotion" in the subject line.
(To take a screenshot, PC users press "Print Screen", open Paint, go to Edit>Paste and save. Mac users press Apple+Shift+3 and your screenshot will save to the desktop.)

Each individual screenshot counts as a SEPARATE ENTRY into the contest, so the more you submit, the better your chances!

All entries must be submitted by JUNE 10TH. One screenshot will be chosen at random, and the submitter will be awarded the signed poster, and spot in our top friends! Then, four more screenshots will be chosen at random for inclusion in our grand prize drawing as explained above.
